Too much going on to spend too much time on this, so I'll cheat and steal a graph from
Calculated Risk which shows the overall price decline from peak prices for all 20 of the Case-Shiller markets. So are you a glass half-empty or half-full type of person? Overall, I think the story for Portland is that it has held its value remarkably well during these troubles housing times. But all bets are off for the moment about the near future...
