Crisis in Higher Ed: The Sky is Falling!

Okay, not really, but I did arrive at the stairwell in my building at OSU the other (rainy) day where a sign advised me to use an alternate route due to the ceiling falling in big chunks.  Yikes.  Here is the offending ceiling.


Um...can we have some of that stimulus money devoted to higher ed construction please?  At least it is not a repeat of a few years ago when the ceiling started leaking right on the department chairperson's desk.  

Oh and by the way, I am Captain Danger, laughing in the face of death -- I used the stairs anyway.

Nice pic! As someone else who works in that building, I can assure you that those are not the only places with falling plaster.

There's a certain stall you should avoid if you're in the men's second floor restroom . . .
