Oregon Unemployment in January at 9.9%

The rapidly deteriorating Oregon economy just keeps getting worse. I was assuming a rate at at least 9.5% and hoping to avoid double digits, so we at least managed that, but it will be worse next month and will probably remain on its upward trajectory at least through the summer.

The job losses are everywhere, even in education and health services which for a time was the lone positive sector. It is just horrible everywhere you look.
